When you step on to the coquina shell beach at Alimacani you know that you are in Florida. Some of the first Europeans to arrive in Northeast Florida landed on this Island in 1562.
Just a short 15 minute ride south of Historic Fernandina and Amelia Island. Alimacani is located on Fort George Island on the north end of Huguenot State Park and makes a great place to take a kayak tour or join us for a stand up paddle board (SUP) tour.
Alimacani sits right in the middle of Simpsons Creek and the Atlantic ocean, which makes it a great place to see a lot of the wildlife that call the first coast home. A kayak or stand up paddle board tour here is second to none, with all the sand bars scattered around you are sure to have fun bar hoping around Alimacani.
